All teams are to adhere to the Rules of Conduct, or risk disqualification. These rules include, at time of writing:
Do not use any discriminatory language, including but not limited to any language regarding ethnicity, nationality, race, gender, religion, sexual preference or personal beliefs.
Do not use foul language, including but not limited to excessive profanity or language that is graphically sexual, grotesque, or violent.
Do not make threats of real-world violence or other intended harm to other teams or our employees.
Do not harass, stalk, or purposely do things to make someone else feel uncomfortable or threatened.
Do not share personal information about yourself or other individuals.
Do not engage in, request, arrange, or offer illegal activities or materials.
Do not impersonate other individuals.
Do not spam, be it in text or voip.
Do not cheat: do not use third party programs, macros, client-side hacks, edited game files or anything else that may give you an unfair advantage in the game. This includes promoting or posting links to websites that provide or promote cheats or hacks.
Do not stream snipe: this is a form of cheating and you will be banned if you do it.
Do not exploit bugs or glitches: If you find a bug or a glitch in the game that provides an unfair advantage, let us know about it instead of using the exploit for your own benefit.
Do not share your account: your account is for your use and your use alone. Do not grant access to your account to anyone else, and do not access anyone else’s account, even with their permission.
Teams are strongly advised to screenshot all end-of-round screens.
Tournament passwords are not to be leaked to non-participants.
Match fixing to intentionally propel another participant to a higher position is not allowed.
Any involved parties found guilty of breaking any rule will be removed from the tournament and may be barred from future events/tournaments.
These rules are non-exhaustive. The organisers reserve the right to add, remove or amend these rules at any point of time, or act on its sole discretion for the best interests of the community and event.
GAME ACCOUNTS
A player is allowed to have only one (1) Mobile Legends: Bang Bang account active on their account.
You are not allowed to share or use another person’s game account. Your account is for your use, and your use alone.
TEAMS AND ROSTERS
Each team’s roster must consist of at least 5 players.
Each team’s roster will be allowed to have 5 main players and 2 substitute. Once the tournament starts, you cannot replace any player.
A substitute player may only be added before the Tournament Start.
This player cannot be part of any other team’s roster which is participating or has participated in the same tournament.
Match has to be played in the format set out for the week.
A player is allowed to represent only one (1) team’s roster in the same week.
This is a community tournament, teams are restricted to having no more than two (2) “pro-players”. Such players are defined by their active participation or representation in an official league currently or at the point of registration.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Each participant (Player) needs to be of the age of TWELVE (12) or older at the point of the tournament start date.
Qualifying Rounds: Single Elimination BO3 to Semi-Finals
Semi Finals Round: SIngle Elimination BO3
Grand Final: BO3
All communication with the players and teams is handled on our official Discord.
Any questions regarding upcoming and ongoing matches can be directed to the admin team.
Only registered team members can play for a team. Every player must use their registered In-Game-Name (IGN) as per registration form. No changes will be allowed after registration
All team captains are responsible for his/her team and will be responsible of all communication with the Referees or Tournament Organisers.
A team is allowed to have substitutes on their roster. The roster is locked during the entire tournament.
Teams are allowed substitutions, provided if they are registered on the roster. No substitutions will be allowed after the start of a match.
A player cannot participate in more than 1 team during the tournament
Changes to Schedule
GAM3.GG may, at its sole discretion, re-order the schedule of matches within a given day and/or change the date of an official match to a different date or otherwise modify the schedule of matches. In the event that GAM3.GG modifies a match schedule, GAM3.GG will notify all teams at the earliest convenience.
Arrival in Game Lobby for Non-Live Matches
Members of a team’s Active Roster who are participating in an official match must arrive in the lobby no later than the time specified by GAM3.GG officials.
Match Results
Team Captains will send a screenshot of result page for confirmation of winner and losers at the end of the match and its results.
It is forbidden to cheat, modify the game files, exploit bugs, and/or use any third-party application which would give an unfair advantage against other users.
All cheats are completely forbidden to use under any circumstance. Using any cheat will result in bans and disqualifications. This includes, but are not limited to:
– Map Hack
– Damage Hack
– Teleportation (any kind of teleportation, which is not possible in the game)
The usage of a bug/bugs to gain an advantage versus your opponents.
GAM3.GG reserves the right to monitor any player, for any reason, during the tournament.
Players, coaches, team staff, team owners as well as hosts and staff from AEF 2023: MLBB and respective partners are prohibited from gambling or betting on any matches in any tournament.
All sorts of match-fixing and/or teaming are strictly forbidden and will be punished. This may include temporary or permanent bans.
First Place: 1,500 SGD
Second Place: 500 SGD
Third/ Fourth Place: 250 SGD/ Team
- Prizes will be given out to the winning team within 30 days from the end of event.
- Organiser will contact the team captain when prizes are ready for collection.
Finality of Decisions
Decisions regarding the interpretation of these rules, player eligibility, scheduling and staging of AEF 2023: MLBB, and penalties for misconduct, lie solely with Officials, the decisions of which are final. Officials decisions with respect to these Rules cannot be appealed and shall not give rise to any claim for monetary damages or any other legal or equitable remedy.
Rule Changes
These Rules may be amended, modified or supplemented by GAM3.GG, from time to time, in order to ensure fair play and the integrity of the AEF 2023: MLBB.
Best Interests of AEF 2023: MLBB
GAM3.GG officials at all times may act with the necessary authority to preserve the best interests of the AEF 2023: MLBB. This power is not constrained by the lack of any specific language in this document. The officials may use any form of punitive actions at their disposal against any entity whose conduct is not within the confines of the best interests of the AEF 2023: MLBB.
